The Black Women Photographers collective announces the first annual #BWPSummit, sponsored by Adobe and Lightroom, to be held virtually March 11-13, 2022, featuring twelve speakers from around the world. 

The first annual summit features industry leaders we all know and love: Raven B. Varona, Kimberly Douglas, also known as @kihmberlie, Audrey Woulard, Lola Flash, Lola Akinmade Åkerström, Amanda J. Cain, NHL’s first Black woman team photographer, Whitney Matewe, DeLovie Kwagala, Cheriss May, Sade Nadya, Chaya Howell, and Idara Ekpoh. 

The #BWPSummit is the latest initiative in a year-long collaboration between Adobe and the Black Women Photographers Collective. Past initiatives include a series of creative talks featuring notable Black photographers in the industry such as Flo Ngala, Sade Ndya, AB+DM, Joshua Kissi, Kennedi Carter, and more. Plus, free Lightroom and Photoshop training with former Adobe Creative Resident Aundre Larrow.
